Best Way to Place a House on Pie Shaped Lot

Posting here (even though we are remodeling, not building) every bit I am looking for design advice and at that place is such a wealth of knowledge on this lath. We are interviewing designers and architects but I generally know what options we take with this home (we paid for a blueprint for a smaller remodel we never did in 2011) and I want to become as far equally I tin can myself this time to be more than decisive/focused and brand the process efficient.
Background: Nosotros are a family unit of v (kids ages 7, 12, xv) embarking on a major add-on and remodel. No, information technology is not cheaper for united states to just motion in our expanse. Nosotros are remodeling for ourselves (not resale) and will for certain exist here seven-10 more years, may hire information technology out afterwards that. We know this will be expensive and we have saved the coin.
Goals:
- Dedicated master bath (we share with 2 kids) and kid bath
- Larger more than open kitchen with storage and island seating
- Keep a family room and a living room so in that location is kid infinite (video games!) and adult space
- Maximize light/view/connection to outdoors which are all in the back of house (front lacks privacy and lite most of day).
Challenges:
- sloping lot (both ways)
- pie shaped lot with house already violating side setbacks and then need to step in any back add-on
- max addition of 375 sq feet (domicile is 1936).
- want to keep master upstairs (meliorate low-cal, slightly higher ceilings and don't really want to be nether my kids).
Below is the existing site and flooring program and the ii options ("B" and "C") nosotros are considering. I think they are comparable costwise. (NOTE: Plans B/C are options I drew on Paint and are therefore the addition sketches are not to scale. Only I have pencil sketched them to scale and so they are realistic.)
1) Whatsoever thoughts/preferences on the floor plans and how they might play out in real life?
two) Ideas I am missing? Crazy things jumping out at y'all?
